Did you know that Washington, DC and the broader DMV area of DC, Maryland and Virginia has a massive Caribbean population?

Where are we? Outside of parties, it seems like we are a hidden.

This site, is my initiative to curate a community of Caribbean residents in the area and to let our presence be known. In a time of serious cultural shifts in DC, the Caribbean Community and our influence in the area cannot be ignored or ever forgotten. 

This site will chronicle events and experiences that tell the story of our Caribbean Community in DC from my lens. From films, to panel discussions, organizations, parties, receptions, theater and FOOD I  can't wait to share some of my perspective of the DC Caribbean Community.
