Fundraising event to provide scholarships to deserving students at Kingston College and Calabar High School in Jamaica About this Event We kindly request your support for our annual Jamaica David “Wagga” Hunt Scholarship Fundraising Ball which will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, under the patronage of Jamaica's Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Audrey P. Marks. All proceeds will support deserving students at two of the premier high schools in Kingston, Jamaica: Calabar High School (Calabar) and Kingston College (KC). This formal “Red Carpet” event will take place in the elegant Atrium of the National Education Association (NEA) Building, located at 1527 M Street NW, Washington DC 20036 from 7:30 pm – Midnight. Savor sumptuous Jamaican cuisine and dance the night away inside the popular Bob Marley Dance Studio along with a live band providing musical entertainment. A silent auction will also be available. Early Bird Tickets are $125 per person through December 31, 2019, then $150 per person starting January 1, 2020. Ticket price includes food, beverages, entertainment and free valet parking. No tickets will be sold at the door!
